I dont think itll work if you blow dry it! I used to do it to make my hair wavey not curly and id literally wash my hair,tie it up and go to bed and just leave it wet in the bun all night…

(but i wouldn’t advise sleeping with wet hair cause its bad for you hahah)

so basicly just leave it how long it takes your hair to naturally dry!

Im not sure minus that because my hair is curly ,but if you wash your hair then tie it up in a tight bun and leave it to dry naturally in the bun that should make it wavey !
